The Position

Novo Nordisk Israel is looking for a Diabetes Field Sales Manager. In this role, you will manage one of our diabetes sales teams in order to implement local sales strategies, tactics and policies and you will strive to achieve ambitious goals in line with Novo Nordisk’s strategy and be accountable for results, whether individually or in the team.

Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Develop your own and others’ skills to enhance performance. Focus on contributing to the business and plan work to ensure excellence and strengthen Novo Nordisk’s leadership.
  • Coordinate the team effectively, delegating responsibilities. Actively manage performance, recognising and rewarding achievements as well as identifying ways to improve and coach others, dedicating time, resources and support to their development. Consider current and future business needs, sharing talent and leveraging diversity.
  • Build long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with customers based on understanding their needs and on offering appropriate solutions that increase satisfaction and strengthen Novo Nordisk’s position and reputation.
  • Track, understand and analyse the customer relationship management performance of the team to achieve the related key performance indicators and track the implementation of the messages and promotional tools in the field, including providing feedback to the brand team based on your observations.
  • Train the sales team to use the tools according to the decisions in the brand teams and shared goals.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the role, you should hold a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Life science or any relevant medical degree. You need to be fluent in Hebrew and English. You have previous experience from pharmaceutical or medical equipment companies. We would also like you to have:

  • At least 3 years’ of experience in sale team management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the team and customers.
  • Multitasking and the ability to collaborate, including the ability to contribute to the team.
  • Experience in establishing contact with doctors.
  • Ability to take on difficult challenges and deal with them.
  • Knowing how to make decisions and motivate the representatives in the field.
  • Open minded person who has a high emotional intelligence.
  • Good team player who works with high motivation and is open and honest.

About the Department

Our Diabetes Department is responsible for setting local portfolio strategy and for driving key marketing activities amongst Health Care Professionals. You will be a member of energetic and driven professionals and act to improve the daily lives of patients dealing with diabetes. This position represents Novo Nordisk with the goal of maximizing sales and positioning Novo Nordisk as the leading company in Diabetes care.
